2021 SHIFT Reception & Cocktail Hours

Not long now until our one-of-a-kind SHIFT Childcare Leaders Conference at the Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach, CA and it’s shaping up to be our best event yet! We’ve included a few extras to our social events this year with added decor and fun at our nightly cocktail hours and daily afternoon drink and snack breaks! All Aboard SHIFT 2021
Tuesday, October 5th | 6:00 - 9:00PM | Balboa Bay Club Member’s Lawn

Come sail away at our 2021 SHIFT welcome reception! This year’s opening event will feature elaborate, nautical-themed decor, a custom-built maritime background for photo ops, and a variety of land and sea butlered hors d’oeuvres. We’ll even have a signature cocktail as well as sodas, beer, and wine. And don’t worry about bringing cash—all food and drinks are on us! (And by us we mean our incredible sponsor, Essential Properties.)

Afternoon Drink & Snack Breaks

Boho Book Signing Party
Wednesday, October 6th | 5:00 - 7:00PM | Bayfront Lawn

Following her keynote presentation, Delivering Happiness CEO Jenn Lim will join SHIFT attendees on the beautiful Bayfront Lawn for a garden party and book sticker signing. Jenn’s upcoming book, Beyond Happiness, is being released following the SHIFT Conference on Monday, October 11th. Attendees can sign up to receive a free copy of Jenn’s book at their doorstep by providing their shipping address at her designated table. Sommelier Send-Off

For our final social hour event, join fellow attendees in the stunning Bay View Room for incredible views of the harbour and sunset. A professional sommelier will be on-site to provide a wine tasting experience to interested parties.
