+ Who attends the SHIFT Childcare Leaders Conference?

The SHIFT Childcare Leaders Conference is built for private early education business owners and their administrative staff. Our attendees range from CEOs of some of the nation’s largest organizations to multi-site and one-site childcare business owners. You’ll also find industry stakeholders at the event including operators of childcare systems, private equity groups, and real estate investors.

+ Who hosts the SHIFT Conference?

HINGE Early Education Advisors launched the SHIFT Conference in 2018 after hearing from multiple clients that they wanted more meaningful resources to help them manage and grow their businesses. We felt we were perfectly placed in the industry to fill this gap, and SHIFT was born. The team at HINGE predominantly works to help childcare business owners exit their companies when they’re ready, and, as such, have built powerful relationships within the industry with national buyers and investors—allowing us to always keep a finger on the pulse of the market as well as opportunities and trends within industry.

+ How many people attend the SHIFT Conference?

As a boutique childcare conference, we limit our attendance to 500 people each year. This allows us to provide a more intimate experience for our attendees for more meaningful conversations and stronger industry connections. It also allows us to host our conference in beautiful boutique hotels in unique cities across the country.

+ What sets SHIFT apart from other childcare conferences?

Besides providing a boutique experience to our attendees, SHIFT treats everyone like a VIP. Every meal, cocktail hour and extra experience provided at SHIFT is completely complimentary and available to every attendee. At SHIFT, we aim to provide a range of business-boosting content and build out sessions based on current trends in the childcare industry. You can expect content on leadership, staff recruitment and retention, enrollment building, industry insights, financial planning, government funding, and much more.

+ What speakers can I expect to find at SHIFT?

We always like to grab speakers from both inside and outside of the early education industry. Each year, we host two keynote speakers — one from outside the industry who can speak on business growth and leadership concepts and one from inside the industry who is making waves. We’ve hosted New York Times Bestselling Authors, CEOs of the largest childcare organizations, and other industry legends (see our Speakers page for more!).

+ How much are tickets for the SHIFT Childcare Leaders Conference?

For our 2024 SHIFT Conference, ticket will be $1195 per person and will go on sale on Thursday, August 1st.

+ What is the SHIFT Conference cancellation policy for tickets?

If you cancel by October 1, 2024, you will be eligible to receive a full refund of your ticket price. No refunds will be granted on or after October 1, 2024.
