SHIFT Conference Postponed to Fall 2021

After careful consideration, the team at HINGE Early Education Brokers has decided to postpone the 2021 SHIFT Childcare Leaders Conference.

The event, originally scheduled for early February at the Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach, CA, is set to be rescheduled for Fall 2021.

SHIFT has become the go-to event for business and financial content, and we are greatly aware of the need for leaders in the childcare industry to come together to discuss recovery plans and ways to reimagine their businesses in the post-COVID-19 era. But at the same time, the heart of SHIFT is in creating meaningful, personal connections for owners and managers. So, we want to do this at a time when we are confident we can come together safely.

The SHIFT Childcare Leaders Conference launched in 2018 to help early education providers connect with other business owners and stakeholders in the industry. The event was designed for childcare owners and directors to listen to, learn from and connect with the industry experts as well as build relationships, develop new ways of thinking and receive loads of meaningful content. Now entering its fourth year, the event has become a haven of meaningful resources for childcare providers—helping them manage the operational and financial sides of their businesses as well as introducing them to the newest and most innovative solutions for operating their schools.

SHIFT has attracted leaders from all across the business and early education spectrum. Over the years, the conference has featured childcare VIPs like Roger Neugebauer, founding publisher of Child Care Exchange Magazine and founder of the World Forum Foundation; Tom Wyatt, CEO of Kindercare Education; Jo Kirchner, CEO of Primrose Schools; Eric Nelson, author of Cultivating Outdoor Classrooms; and Adam Braun, founder & author of Pencils of Promise as well as entrepreneurial minds like Greg McKeown, author of Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less and John Warrillow, author of Built to Sell and host of Built to Sell Radio.
